Here are some answers to some of the pragmatics of therapy. Please feel free to call me with additional questions.
Hours and office days.
I am in my office Monday through Thursday with a limited number of
early morning and evening appointments.
Fees and Billing.
My fee is $140.00 for a 45 minute clinical hour. My intake fee (for
the first session) is $150.00. Please come prepared to pay the amount
you owe at the beginning of each session. You may pay with cash, check
or credit card. I am a provider for most Blue Cross insurance plans
and an out of network provider for other insurance companies. In an
effort to make it simpler for you if you are using health insurance I
have hired a billing company who will, at your request, send your
insurance claims for you to your insurance company.
Emergency Services.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency and need immediate
attention please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You
may call the crisis connection at 612.379.6363, however they cannot
provide emergency services.
